Previous Meeting were read and agreed
Principals Report:
➢
Promotional Brochure: Included in Appendix. Principal will
disseminate promotional brochure to all pre-school children in Bocan Creche and
Little Acorns in January 2019. It was also be submitted to PA Facebook page as
well as included in local newspapers.
➢
Parent Teacher Meeting Feedback: Principal outlined the positive
feedback from parents. After discussion from staff many parents feedback
included praise from survey results e.g. increase of spoken irish at home &
use of irish in general. Parents were positive about school discipline and
increase in amount of school resources. Attendance at PT meetings was 96.2%.
Teachers have arranged follow up meetings with any parents who had missed
meeting on day.

Parents Association: Upcoming Fundraisers are as following -
Bag packing, Quiz, Ceilí, Santas
visit to school, Come Dine with Me, 5KM race, First Aid evening classes. BOM
agreed and ratified each event.
Parents association has funded so
far:
PE Hall floor industrially cleaned, new
stage installed, water bottles ordered to be delivered in January with new
school lunches.

Events to note:
Swimming Update – 1st – 3rd
class lessons take place final 6 weeks of school in Ballyliffin Lodge.
Inishowen Soccer League Champions 2018: congratulations to Mr. Ward for
coaching the 6 a-side champions 2018
Peace IV: Trips are currently
underway. St. Mura’s N.S. are currently visiting our school to take part in
STEM (science) activities for 3 Thursday in a row after which we travel to St.
Mura’s to take part in STEM (maths) activities.

Parents Association Accounts
Summary / Fundraising & Expenditure to date: Account
balance of €4,135 on November 25th. Additional fundraisers have
taken place since. PA has also sent cheque of €3,500 to BOM. (school account)

Treasurer informed BOM of recent update
from ROS that school is to submit wages to Revenue every time they are paid.
Accountant has advised secretary and treasurer use BrightPay. He will provide
training with application to both in January.
